Chris Pratt is already a Hollywood heavyweight known for his roles in Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic World.
However, fans of the 45-year-old star, from Virginia, Minnesota, think he could be in line for another one James Bond.
Ever since Daniel Craig announced his departure from the iconic role after 2021’s ‘No Time to Die’, speculation has been rife about his successor. The rumors have intensified with Amazon’s recent acquisition of the franchise, leading many fans to believe that Chris Pratt might be the chosen one.
One fan humorously tweeted: “They’re gonna cast Chris Pratt and make him fight some warehouse workers who wanna unionise.” The tweet quickly went viral, amassing 77,000 likes and over 1.8 million views.
Despite the jesting nature of the post, several fans expressed their support for Pratt as 007. One person commented: “I know this is a joke, but I’d un-ironically go see this.” Another added: “I can get behind this.”
A third agreed: “Kinda down for that.” While a fourth simply stated: “No notes.”
This speculation coincides with Pratt’s recent appearance on The Graham Norton show in the UK this weekend. Chris hit headlines as he shared on the BBC show that he has experienced lung infections following the birth of three of his children, due to an unusual tradition with his father-in-law, Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Pratt, who tied the knot with Schwarzenegger’s daughter Katherine in 2019, is a proud father of two daughters and a son.
He disclosed that Schwarzenegger has a unique way of celebrating these joyous occasions – by lighting up a cigar. Despite having asthma and the health risks associated with smoking cigars, Pratt participated in the ritual each time in an effort to impress his father-in-law, which unfortunately led to lung infections.
Currently, Pratt is on a promotional tour for his new film Electric State, where he shares the screen with Millie Bobby Brown. The movie is scheduled for a global premiere on Netflix on March 14, 2025.
